Playbook
The Playbook is the heart of your coaching strategy. Design formations, draw routes, and build plays. Before creating your first play, create your Positions, Formations, Routes, and Categories.
Positions
The first step is to assign positions. Give each position on offense and defense a 1 or 2 digit code (WR, QB, LB, etc) and a full description.
Formations
Next create offensive and defensive formations under the Formations tab. Place each position on the field canvas, name the formation and save it. Formations are reusable across multiple plays.
Routes
The Routes tab lets you draw custom routes. You can smooth your routes for a cleaner look and reuse them across plays.
Categories
Categorize your plays for easy organization. Categories are optional, but are a great way to organize a large playbook.
Building Plays
Now you are ready to add plays. Choose a formation, and assign routes to each receiver. Have a unique route just for this play? Use the custom route tool for a unique route. Give the play a name and number, an optional category, and it's in the playbook. See the Advanced section for detailed instructions on Shifts, Motion, and Defensive plays.
Wristbands and Playbooks
Once your plays are built, use the Wristbands tab to generate printable wristband sheets or play card PDFs for your coaches and players.
Copying a Playbook
You can copy your entire playbook from one team to another. This is useful when starting a new season or creating a new team with the same system.
