GameDay
GameDay is your real-time coaching command center. Set your roster, call plays, track stats, manage the clock, and control the score — all from the sideline.
Starting a Game
Go to GameDay and tap Start a Game. Set your opponent name and set your lineup. Note players that will be inactive for the game, which players will be resting each quarter, and who this week's captains are. Then choose Auto Order All Quarters to set your lineup based on player positions, and adjust as you see fit for this week's game. Once your lineups are set, you are ready to start the game!
Manage Your Lineup
Once the game has started, you will have two reports to show your team, so they know what their positions are by quarter, and which quarters they will rest in. Game Lineup shows the whole game in a single snapshot. Q Lineup gives a detailed report for the quarter that you are in. These are easily accessible so that when your players forget (they will), you can easily access the report to give them their assignment.
Calling Plays
The Live Playbook tab shows your full playbook filtered by offense or defense. Tap a play to call it — a full-screen overlay shows the play number or name for your team or quarterback. Tap it again to return to the previous screen. Execute a fast no huddle offense or a methodical huddle all from the sideline.
Logging Stats
After each play, log the result — catch, rush, touchdown, extra point, or no result. You can assign the primary player (receiver/rusher) and secondary player (passer) to each logged play. Defensive plays like interceptions, safeties, and TFL (Tackle for a Loss) can be recorded as well. And don't forget to record opponent scores.
Log the stats that you need. Some coaches choose to log only scoring plays. Others use the full complement of stats. The more stats you log, the more meaningful the Analytic reports become. And the more stats your coaching staff and fans can see.
Score & Clock
The current score is always available in the heading. Manage the clock by pressing Start in the first quarter. 2nd quarter clocks and beyond will start automatically after pressing Next Q to advance to the next quarter. Clocks are, of course, fully managed by the referee, but this gives you a reliable way to know roughly how much time is left in the game, so you can manage your strategy accordingly.
Quarterly and Game Lineups
Have a quick view for your players so they know exactly what positions they will play by quarter. Game Lineup will show the whole game at a glance, Q Lineup shows just the current quarter. It's a quick and easy way to keep your players organized.
Finalizing the Game
At the end of the game, press Finalize to lock the stats and make the game available in Analytics reports and Stats section.
